Hands down, Whitley Auto Services is the best automobile repair facility in Dalton, Georgia. As a long-time customer driving a truck with 281,000 miles on it ( Yes, I squeeze ‘em for all they are worth! ), I have on more than a few occasions relied on Whitley Auto Services to bail me out of mechanical difficulties. Owner Brent is a hands-on guy who knows his stuff, and keeps a highly qualified staff on hand. No BS, no upselling, just honest and knowledgeable service.

I was traveling on 75 Northbound when I experienced car trouble in the form of a stalled motor. Being far from home and traveling for vacation, I had no idea who to trust, so I called a fleet management service and the guy that answered the phone highly recommended Whitley auto service. Well, I called around 12:30pm and asked if they could help me. They said they hate to see anyone stranded and agreed to let me have it towed there. Well, I needed an alternator and Whitley had me back on the road by 2:30pm!!! And they followed up with a text to make sure I was doing ok after the work. I have no idea when i will be back in that area- but I want to thank these guys ! they are amazing!!!! As a publisher for a community magazine, these guys embody the spirit of what community means!!!!!!!! You won't get that from a corporate store!!!
